You can’t lead powerfully when you’re running on fumes.
The Game Plan: Be Intentional, Not Busy
Hustle culture glorifies motion.
Game-changers don’t move constantly they move deliberately.
The key shift I made was asking, What impact am I actually having?
That’s where intentionality comes in.
- What’s my vision?
- What are my true non-negotiables?
- What’s the one action today that drives me closer to meaningful progress?
The Game Plan isn’t a to-do list. It’s a values-driven compass. It says no to noise, and yes to purpose.

The Outer Game: Act Like a Human, Not a Machine
We’re not built to go full-throttle 24/7. Machines do that.
You’re not a machine.
And when you stop pretending you are, a new level of performance becomes possible one built on energy, clarity, and alignment.
In the Outer Game, I stopped:
- Saying yes to every opportunity
- Working late just to “prove” something
- Equating time spent with value created
And I started:
- Protecting my energy
- Leading with vision, not pressure
- Operating from focus, not fear
When you align your actions with your values and vision, momentum becomes sustainable not sacrificial.
